Rusizi district administration has taken up to resolving problems that have been pending for long without solutions.
It’s because of this that residents from Gihundwe, Kamembe, Nkaka, Nkungu, Nyakarenzo and Nkombo sectors gathered at Rusizi district stadium to have their problems solved.
Starting off the day’s program, the mayor of Rusizi district, Oscar Nzeyimana urged residents to adopt the habit of dropping less valuable cases that bring them nothing other than poverty.
The mayor asked to always be contented with the resolutions by the leaders rather than prolong cases that result from land wrangles most times.
However, some residents among the attendees said they were satisfied with the ruling while others swore to approach higher levels for fair judgement.
Though some residents say unsolved cases disturb them a lot, others commend the ‘good governance month saying local leaders now sit with them and listen to their problems.
Local leaders were asked to avoid favour and fear in resolving residents problems.
