Residents of Kivumu village, Kigombe cell, and Muhoza sector in Musanze district have said different development activities have started in this area due to the birth of quadruplet babies in one family.

Residents express that before these babies were born, no leader had stepped a foot in Kivumu village but now, different leaders flock this place bringing cows, beddings and other gifts.

This is confirmed by the village leader, Etienne Sengaramba who says that residents never thought it’s possible for this couple to have quadruplets until they were born.

“After she gave birth, people wondered how premature babies will survive in such a poor home,” Sengaramba explains.

He adds that residents’ fears turned into a blessing to this village because a modern cow that generates 10 litres a day is reared in this village as they wait for more developmental activities.
