The local mediators that work in Ruhango sector in Ruhango district asked the government to increase the number of cards for their medical insurance (Mituelle de santé) .

These mediators say that the government had agreed to give them the insurance for 5 people and now they find that 5 arent enough because sometimes one mediator has a family of more than 5 people as Yohana Nyaminani a mediator in Gikoma cell said.

They say that sometimes when their family members fall sick, they fail to go to the health centers yet the government had agreed to give them medical insurance. They spend the whole time solving people’s cases which are many and especially about inheritance and land and fail to work for themselves.

“we don’t get enough time to care our for our family issues and much less to work for money to buy medical insurances for our our families.” said yo Bahoneza

Innocent Habimana a worker in the Ministry of Justice that connects mediators and the local people in Ruhango district said that mediators are given cards for 3 children and their parents and they usually come on time.

He promised to advocate for these mediators so as to be given more medical insurance cards so that they continue doing their work which is as i9mportant in solving people’s problems.

Umunyamabanga nshingwa bikorwa w’umurenge wa Cyanika, Nkanika Jean Marie Vianney, aratangaza ko kwaka inguzanyo muri SACCO y’umurenge byatumye abaturage bo muri uwo murenge bose barangize gutanga amafaranga y’ubwisungane mu kwivuza.

Ibyo yabitangaje tariki 03/01/2012 ubwo ku biro by’umurenge wa Cyanika hateraniraga inama y’abahagarariye imiryango (amatsinda) y’abagomba guhabwa inguzanyo muri iyo SACCO.

Nkanika avuga ko bahisemo ubwo buryo kugira ngo hatazagira umuturage witwaza ko nta mafaranga afite maze ntatange amafaranga ya mitiweli. Yagize ati “kwaka inguzanyo muri SACCO bizafasha bamwe mu baturage bavuga ko nta mafaranga ya mitiweli bafite”.

Agira ati “ntabwo SACCO yari guha inguzanyo umuntu umwe niyo mpamvu bishyize mu matsinda”. Yongeraho ko abagurijwe amafaranga bazayishyura mu gihe kigera ku mezi atandatu.

Nshimiyimana Vital, umwe mu bahagarariye iyo miryango, yatangaje ko yakoze urutonde rw’abantu hanyuma aruzana ku murenge kugira ngo bahabwe inguzanyo. Abo bantu yazanye babajyanye muri SACCO y’umurenge wa Cyanika mu rwego rwo kubakorera ifishi yo kubitsa ndetse no kubikurizaho ya buri muntu. Iyo fishi niyo buri wese azajya yishyuriraho inguzanyo yahawe buhoro buhoro kugeza igihe ayirangirije.

Umuyobozi w’umurenge wa Cyanika yavuze ko abo bahawe inguzanyo aribo banyuma bari basigaye bataratanga amafaranga ya mitiweli.  Nkanika  yemeza ko nyuma y’uko abo bamaze guhambwa inguzanyo umurenge wa Cyanika  wose uzaba umaze gutanga amafaranga ya mitiweli 100%.

SACCO y’umurenge wa Cyanika yahaye iyo miryango inguzanyo y’amafaranga y’u Rwanda miliyoni eshatu n’ibihumbi 84 (3.084.000Frws).
