Residents of Kigina sector have been told to care for all children because their behavior concerns them, Sylvestre Uwitonze; district worker in charge of good governance has advised.

According to Uwitonze, a child’s upbringing is a concern for all Rwandese not necessarily their parents.

“It’s a bad culture to see a certain child in wrong doing and keep quiet because they are not yours. If everybody cares for any child as their own, our culture would be much preserved,” adds Uwitonze

A police official in Kirehe district Supt. John Sesonga calls upon parents to teach good morals to their children especially nowadays where a big number of drug abusers are youth.

Supt. Sesonga points out that family planning should be embraced as well so that parents are able to have a few children they can afford to raise.

This was said after the usual monthly community work that saw the turn up of residents, different workers from Kirehe district, police officials and some soldiers.
